Our sleepers are large, rectangular timber beams that are usually referred to as timber sleepers or railway sleepers. While resembling traditional railway sleepers (of the kind that was historically used on the rail network), our sleepers are not reclaimed – they are sawn from new hardwood (oak) or softwood (spruce or pine) and grown locally right here in West Sussex.
